Balochistan Attacks Result in 42 Martyrs and 54 Terrorists Neutralized
The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, addressed a press conference detailing recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan.Over the past four days, three major incidents occurred, resulting in significant casualties.In Hanna Urak, militants from Fitna al-Khawarij attacked locals, leading to four civilian deaths and six injuries.A police checkpoint near Mangi Dam saw 15 terrorists killed, with nine police personnel martyred.Security forces tightened a cordon around militants in Ziarat mountains, prompting 18 police martyrs as terrorists fled.Another attack in Bela involved the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), killing 14 militants and claiming one JCO and ten soldiers.Operations in Kharan and Dalbandin eliminated six and eight terrorists respectively.Total casualties included 42 security personnel and 38 civilians, while 54 India-backed terrorists were neutralized.The DG emphasized relentless pursuit of terrorists, linking attacks to Afghan Taliban support.
He reiterated the government's stance that these incidents are unrelated to Balochistan or Islam, vowing to remove illegal Afghan nationals from Pakistan.
