This technology, already popular in many global airports, will reduce waiting times at security checkpoints and decrease the need for additional manpower.New airports will have this system as a standard feature. The government is focusing on developing 21 airports currently under construction and another 41 based on passenger traffic and security needs.Efforts are being made to streamline every stage of passenger journey from entry to boarding.Baggage drop facilities will be expanded beyond the current 16 major airports. For immigration, Foreigners Regional Registration Offices will be set up in every state by 2027.The Fast Track Immigration - Trusted Travellers' Programme will be promoted more actively through airlines.Independent studies will also be conducted to identify and resolve bottlenecks during peak seasons.

These measures aim to balance top-notch security with quicker and smoother travel for both domestic and international passengers as air traffic in India continues to grow rapidly.
