Chinar Book Festival promotes literacy and cultural exchange in Kashmir

Sinha praised the National Book Trust and collaborators for creating a vibrant literary movement, quoting Urdu poet Bashir Badr to underscore literature's timeless impact.Over 200 publishers showcased books in multiple languages, while activities included author interactions, workshops, and cultural performances.The event also featured a Children's Corner and a 5K Reading Run, promoting reading as a communal effort.

Organizers aimed to blend education with entertainment, encouraging participants to engage deeply with the content and carry the experience beyond the festival.
