The initiative combined remote video lectures with on-site clinical demonstrations, covering acupuncture, moxibustion, and therapies like gua sha and cupping.Dr.Zhou Shengqiang traced the history of acupuncture and introduced modern Fu Needle therapy to address chronic pain issues prevalent in Sierra Leone.Local nurses participated in practical sessions, including hands-on treatments for patients with joint and musculoskeletal conditions.The program aims to bridge gaps in pain management services and strengthen healthcare capacity through sustainable training.
