APC aspirant alleges exclusion from Imo State Assembly primary after spending over N100 million
The City Boy Movement in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State has congratulated Senator Allwell Onyesoh following his victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Rivers East Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 general elections.The group’s chairman in Etche, Dr.Fortune Uchenna Obi, made the commendation while speaking to journalists in Okehi Ward after participating in the party’s direct primary exercise.Dr.
Obi described Onyesoh’s emergence as the APC candidate as a true reflection of the will of the people, noting that the senator had performed well during his first term and therefore deserved another opportunity to represent the district.
He praised the level of participation by party members and voters during the primary, stating that turnout across wards in Etche and other parts of Rivers East was impressive and demonstrated strong grassroots support for the party process.
