Cotabato City authorities have intensified security measures following three consecutive ambushes that left three people dead and six others injured.The incidents occurred in three different barangays within a span of two days, prompting the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region to deploy additional quick reaction teams.On July 12, a police corporal survived an ambush in Barangay Poblacion 5, while a tricycle driver and his minor passenger were killed.The attack was preceded by similar incidents on July 11, where two motorcyclists and a Moro engineer were ambushed, resulting in multiple casualties.Mayor Bruce Matabalao and barangay officials condemned the attacks, and a manhunt is underway to apprehend the perpetrators.The victims, including Basir Madsid Gapor and Surraff Kadir Pasandalan, were residents of nearby areas, with no known enemies.Police officials confirmed that the wounded are in stable condition, and community leaders are assisting in the investigation.
