A decomposing beheaded body was found in a refuse dump in Angwan Durun-Uwa, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.Residents were shocked after the corpse, wrapped in a sack, was discovered around 7:30 a.m.on Thursday.A youth leader, Danjuma Ibrahim, confirmed receiving a distress call about the incident and alerted the police.The body had started decomposing, making identification difficult.Authorities evacuated the corpse and launched an investigation to trace the victim and apprehend those responsible.The Plateau State Police Command spokesman, SP Alfred Alabo, could not be reached for confirmation.This incident adds to the growing concerns about violence and insecurity in the region.
