Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will attend a two-day anniversary event at the Kargil War Memorial in Dras to pay tribute to the bravehearts of Operation Vijay, the 1999 conflict against Pakistan.

The event, starting on July 25, 2026, will include solemn ceremonies like Shaurya Sandhya and Shradhanjali Samaroh, where wreaths will be laid at the cenotaph to honor fallen soldiers.High-ranking officials, including Army Chief Gen Dhiraj Seth and Ladakh's Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena, will attend.
