Edo State has formed a strategic partnership with US-based MOSERI Holding Limited, JBV Manufacturing, and a tricycle company to establish an electric mobility plant for producing electric tricycles.This initiative aims to boost local industrialization, create jobs, and reduce reliance on imported vehicles.The project aligns with Governor Monday Okpebholo's plan to position Edo as a hub for manufacturing and renewable energy.

By localizing production, the state hopes to lower costs, generate direct and indirect employment in assembly, maintenance, and after-sales services, while promoting clean transportation.The collaboration also supports Edo's broader efforts to attract private capital into energy sectors and advance sustainable economic growth.

This milestone underscores the state's commitment to innovation-driven development and strengthening its competitiveness as an investment destination.
