Elmer Catulpos, a media executive and businessman, has officially taken office as the representative of 1 Tahanan Party-List, following the resignation of former representative Nathaniel Oducado.Oducado stepped down earlier this month due to personal reasons, citing his health and family as priorities.Catulpos assumed the role after the second and third nominees also resigned, with Franz Legazpi being replaced by his brother Karl Josef Legazpi.Catulpos is the president and CEO of Brigada Group of Companies, which manages FM radio stations, a TV network, pharmacies, and security services.
He has previously served as president of the General Santos City Chamber of Commerce and has been active in the Philippine Red Cross and Rotary International.
