Woman and domestic worker sentenced to life for murdering Pretoria man over insurance payout
The family of Krish Reddy, a well-known taxi owner in Isipingo, continues to seek justice one year after he was brutally murdered in a drive-by shooting.Reddy, who owned Mastermind Taxis, was ambushed near his home in Isipingo Hills on 21 May 2025 and killed with multiple AK47 shots.His death is suspected to be linked to rivalries in the local taxi industry.Reddy leaves behind seven children, and his family has expressed deep frustration over the lack of progress in the investigation.
His daughter, Jenny Stranburg, stated that no arrests or leads have been made, leaving the family without closure and struggling to cope with the loss.
Another daughter, Sharlet Singh, shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, emphasising the personal impact of the murder and the ongoing pain and anger felt by the family.Community leaders, including Aiden David from the eThekwini district policing board, confirmed that the case remains unsolved.
The family continues to appeal to authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice, highlighting the emotional toll and the broader implications for families affected by violent crime in South Africa.
