The minister talk say the government sees housing as an important driver for economic growth, job creation, poverty reduction and national development.

He praised the Cooperative Housing Federation of Nigeria and international partners for bringing stakeholders together to discuss ways ordinary citizens fit access affordable housing.According to am, cooperative housing models encourage savings, shared responsibility, trust and long-term sustainability.The minister also point out the growing role of technology in housing finance.

He explain say digital platforms fit improve transparency, help cooperatives mobilise savings faster, simplify access to loans, strengthen mortgage administration and increase trust among members.

He finally urge stakeholders to move beyond discussions and take concrete action that will provide real housing opportunities for workers, women, youths, farmers, entrepreneurs and vulnerable groups across the country.

The government also promised to continue supporting partnerships and innovations that promote affordable housing and sustainable urban development in Nigeria and across Africa.
