The Federal Government has confirmed that the final evacuation flight carrying Nigerians returning voluntarily from South Africa will land in Lagos on Wednesday, marking the end of the repatriation exercise initiated after xenophobic violence.The flight, operated by Air Peace, will depart Johannesburg at 1:30 a.m.with 315 returnees and arrive at Murtala Mohammed International Airport by 6:30 a.m.

This is the fifth evacuation flight and seventh batch of Nigerians repatriated since the crisis began, with over 1,141 people brought back since June 11.
