Angelo Agrizzi, a former Bosasa chief operating officer and whistleblower, has formally requested permission to testify before the Madlanga Commission under witness protection.

He alleges political interference in the investigation and prosecution of the Bosasa corruption scandal, focusing on the conduct of the Hawks, National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), and Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC).

Agrizzi claims investigators abandoned efforts to trace financial flows involving Vulisango and entities linked to the Watson family, while intermediaries like the Mansells and Hoeksma were not interviewed or prosecuted.

He also alleges perjury charges against Gavin Watson were never pursued and that evidence against him wrongly portrayed him as a beneficiary rather than a conduit.Agrizzi asserts he was denied access to critical documents needed for his defense despite voluntarily assisting investigators.

His testimony, initially presented to the Zondo Commission, exposed corruption within Bosasa and bribery of public officials, raising concerns about the integrity of key investigative bodies.
