Rick and Morty Season 9 UK release schedule and streaming platforms confirmed
Netflix subscribers in the UK and US face a significant content purge in June 2026, with a wide range of films and television series scheduled to leave the platform throughout the month.
The monthly rotation of content is a standard part of Netflix’s licensing agreements, but it often surprises viewers, as titles can disappear without much prior warning. The list for June includes a mixture of classic films, recent blockbusters, cult favourites, and long-running television series.
Among the most notable departures is the BBC sitcom Big Boys, created by Jack Rooke, which has been widely praised for its heartfelt and humorous portrayal of university life and young adulthood. All three series are set to leave the platform.Another significant removal is the 1995 psychological thriller Copycat, starring Sigourney Weaver, Holly Hunter and Dermot Mulroney.
The film follows a criminal psychologist who becomes entangled in a series of copycat murders and has developed a strong cult following despite its modest box office performance on release.
The film list also includes major titles such as Love Actually, Blade Runner 2049, The Lego Movie, Bee Movie, Night at the Museum and its sequels, the Fifty Shades trilogy, Catch Me If You Can, Top Gun, The Expendables series and Bumblebee.Several documentaries and sports titles, as well as animated family films like Trolls and Dr Seuss adaptations, are also included.
On the television side, departures include Kim’s Convenience, Blindspot, TURN: Washington’s Spies, NOS4A2 and various Netflix originals and international series. The removals span multiple regions, meaning availability differs between the UK and US catalogues.
As always, Netflix continues to refresh its library, balancing new acquisitions with expiring licensing agreements, encouraging users to watch saved titles before they disappear.
