Golden Dragon identifies 3km gold corridor in WA with promising drilling results

Golden Dragon Mining has identified a significant 3km-long gold-in-soil anomaly at its Cue project in Western Australia's Murchison goldfields, linking four previously separate prospects into a single mineralised corridor.

The maiden 827-hole auger drilling program returned two major gold anomalies with peak values of 720 parts per billion (ppb), coinciding with arsenic and antimony levels indicative of a classic orogenic gold system. This discovery aligns with the Kalgoorlie Super Pit's geological model, suggesting potential for large-scale deposits.

The results build on previous high-grade reverse circulation drilling hits at Coodardy and Behring Bore, with recent intersections including 12m at 6.5g/t gold and 4m at 17.6g/t gold.

The company plans heritage surveys and targeted drilling to explore the newly defined corridor, which could expand exploration opportunities in a tier-one gold district near the Big Bell mine.

This development positions Golden Dragon as a key player in WA's mining sector, with upcoming results potentially reshaping regional exploration strategies.
