Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has assured workers laid off by previous administrations that their outstanding entitlements will be paid after verification.

During a civic reception in Aba, Otti highlighted that while some disengaged workers are too old to return to active service, their full entitlements will be calculated and disbursed.He emphasized equal opportunity for all residents, stating that employment is based on competence, not state of origin.Otti also stressed unity between Abia and Imo, noting that Imo indigenes in Abia are treated as equal citizens.
