Borno State Governor, Prof.Babagana Umara Zulum, has approved the appointment of four Special Advisers and a Senior Technical Assistant (STA) to strengthen governance and accelerate the post-insurgency recovery drive.The newly appointed Special Advisers are Engr.Ali Goni Lawan, Hon.Ali Sheriff Galgal, Hon.Bukar Aliyu Daja, and Hon.Makinta M.Zarami.

The appointments, made under Section 196(1) of the Nigerian Constitution, aim to reinforce the administration’s commitment to effective governance, reconstruction, and sustainable development after 17 years of insurgency.

Governor Zulum urged the appointees to dedicate themselves to rebuilding communities, consolidating peace, and delivering quality services to Borno State residents.The STA, Engr.Gujja Bukar Dalori, will oversee reconstruction efforts.The move reflects the government’s focus on long-term stability and development in the region affected by prolonged conflict.
