Government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura visited Kieni Constituency to appeal for continued support of President William Ruto's administration following the ruling UDA party's heavy defeat in the Ol Kalou by-election.The event, held at Mbiriri Comprehensive School, saw Education CS Julius Ogamba as chief guest.

Mwaura acknowledged government missteps and urged residents not to abandon the Kenya Kwanza agenda, emphasizing open dialogue and collaboration to address challenges.He highlighted tangible developments like improved coffee prices, road construction, and electricity expansion as evidence of progress.

The visit came a day after UDA candidate Samuel Muchina's narrow loss to Democracy for Citizens Party's Samuel Ngotho, who secured 35,440 votes.Mwaura stressed the need for unity behind government initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and economic growth.

CS Ogamba reiterated the administration's commitment to development pledges, urging residents to remain united in supporting national welfare programs.
