Grace Adams-Short reflects on Big Brother experience and criticises Davina McCall’s behaviour

Grace Adams-Short, who appeared on the 2006 series of Big Brother, has spoken about her experiences on the show nearly two decades after taking part.In an interview with Betway, she claimed that presenter Davina McCall was “never really friendly” towards her during her time on the programme and described her attitude in strongly negative terms.

Adams-Short said she felt the hostility was particularly evident during her eviction interview and added that she had not crossed paths with McCall since her time in the house.Despite her criticism of McCall, Adams-Short spoke more positively about other television figures associated with Big Brother.

She praised Dermot O’Leary, describing him as warm, genuine and supportive during her post-eviction appearances, and also spoke highly of Rylan Clark, saying he remained kind despite his later success in television.

Adams-Short also reflected on her wider Big Brother experience, noting that it was a significant moment in her life as she met her future husband, Mikey Dalton, during the show, with whom she now has four children. She mentioned maintaining occasional contact with some former housemates, although she said relations with Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace had been strained. The interview also touched on the late Nikki Grahame, a fellow contestant who later died following complications related to anorexia.Adams-Short said she and a few other housemates had reached out to Grahame before her death, describing the situation as deeply sad.A representative for Davina McCall was contacted for comment.
