Mamelodi Sundowns defender Grant Kekana has shared his thoughts on the club’s recent CAF Champions League victory, suggesting that its importance will become clearer and more appreciated in the years ahead.Sundowns secured their second continental title after defeating Moroccan side AS FAR Rabat 2-1 on aggregate in the final.They claimed a 1-0 win in the first leg in Tshwane before drawing 1-1 in the return leg in Rabat, sealing the triumph.

Kekana described the achievement as a major relief for the squad, saying it felt like lifting a long-standing burden after years of chasing African glory.
