The open-top bus journey began at Sundowns’ home ground and tracked through several Pretoria townships and the city centre, drawing large crowds despite overcast weather.
Fans witnessed star players including final hero Teboho Mokoena, captain Themba Zwane, Khuliso Mudau, and goalkeeper Ronwen Williams celebrate the club’s second continental title—ten years after their first in 2016.
Club chairman Thlopie Motsepe urged supporters not to wait another decade for more glory, praising the players and coaching staff for paving the path to more finals.Zwane reflected on the long journey and their commitment to delivering on promises to supporters.
