Climate activist Greta Thunberg expressed solidarity with Indian students protesting against irregularities in the education system during a London gathering organized by the Students' Federation of India (SFI).

The protest, led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), culminated in the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan after 36 days of agitation.Thunberg highlighted the students' fight for justice as a shared cause, emphasizing the importance of international solidarity.The movement gained momentum after police action on July 20 and received support from activists like Sonam Wangchuk.

The CJP called off the protest after the government agreed to demands including compensation for affected families and withdrawal of FIRs against protesters.However, the movement continues to mourn the 21 students who died due to NEET paper leak controversies and face police repression.

The SFI UK praised the students' success in pushing the education minister's resignation but stressed the ongoing struggle for justice and democracy.
