A 30-year-old man, Suresh Vitthal Parmar, was arrested in Gujarat's Anand district on charges of raping and murdering a four-year-old girl.During his transport to the police station, Parmar allegedly pulled out a concealed knife and attacked the police team, leading to a fatal confrontation.The incident occurred on July 20, 2026, after Parmar claimed to feel nauseous.Police fired shots, resulting in his death at Shree Krishna Hospital.This is the second time Parmar faced rape allegations; he was previously cleared of charges in 2025 due to lack of evidence.The latest case involves the abduction and murder of a girl found dead on railway tracks.CCTV footage identified Parmar, who lived alone and had no stable job.The police emphasized self-defense measures during the incident.
