Harry Styles marked England’s dramatic World Cup victory over DR Congo while performing at Wembley Stadium as part of his ongoing residency tour.The pop star is currently headlining a record-breaking 12-night run at the iconic London venue, the longest single-artist residency in its history.

During the show on 1 July, Styles and thousands of fans watched a live screening of England’s last-32 World Cup match, which ended in a tense 2-1 win for Thomas Tuchel’s side.

England initially fell behind after an early goal from Brian Cipenga, creating a nervous atmosphere among supporters both inside and outside the stadium.

However, Harry Kane turned the match around with two late goals, securing England’s place in the last 16 and triggering celebrations throughout Wembley.

Footage shared by attendees showed Styles reacting enthusiastically to the decisive moments, visibly celebrating alongside fans as the final whistle confirmed the victory.

Beyond the football celebration, the run has been noted for its cultural significance, surpassing previous Wembley records held by Coldplay and Taylor Swift.With two shows remaining, Styles will continue his London run before taking the tour to South America, North America and Australia later in the year.
