HUAWEI has officially introduced the WATCH Kids X1, a smartwatch designed specifically for children and families seeking enhanced communication and safety features.

The device enables parents to monitor their child's location through multiple positioning technologies, including GPS, Wi-Fi, and other location-tracking systems.

Using the HUAWEI FamCare application, parents can view their child's whereabouts, establish safe zones such as home or school, and receive notifications when the child enters or leaves designated locations.

The smartwatch includes several safety-oriented functions, such as emergency SOS support, parental controls, and the ability to make video and voice calls.Parents can also manage approved contacts, helping ensure that children communicate only with trusted individuals.In addition to its safety features, the WATCH Kids X1 offers health and activity tracking capabilities.These include heart rate monitoring, step counting, and general activity tracking designed to encourage an active lifestyle.The wearable is equipped with a rotating 1.82-inch AMOLED display, providing a colorful and interactive user experience.It also features dual cameras, customizable watch faces, and photo-sharing functionality.For durability and everyday use, the smartwatch includes water resistance and is powered by an 850mAh battery.HUAWEI announced that the WATCH Kids X1 will become available in the Philippine market beginning June 30, 2026.
