Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, has strongly denied rumours circulating on social media regarding a meeting between Imran Khan and a former army chief at Adiala jail.

In a post on X, she described these reports as 'totally fake' and confirmed with PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan that there is no truth to them.Aleema stated that such misinformation is being spread deliberately to divert attention from Imran's current condition in jail.

She highlighted that Imran has been under strict isolation for six months, without proper medical care for his eye condition, restricted contact with his sons, no access to books or television, and only two visits from his lawyer as allowed by court order.Court-mandated visits for family, lawyers, and party members have largely been blocked.

Imran, who has been imprisoned since August 2023, is serving sentences in corruption and Toshakhana-2 cases and continues to receive follow-up treatment at PIMS.Meanwhile, PTI supporters continue sit-ins outside Adiala jail on Tuesdays and Thursdays, though these gatherings have faced security challenges.Aleema and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi also reported gunfire incidents during protests.The family continues to voice concerns over Imran's legal rights and proper treatment under Pakistani and international law.
