Profile of Jeffrey Epstein’s assistant Lesley Groff and scrutiny over her role and knowledge
Sarah Kellen, a former personal assistant to Jeffrey Epstein, has made new claims in testimony to US congressional investigators alleging that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor invited her to visit him at a private residence.
According to her closed-door evidence to the House Oversight Committee, she stated that she was invited either to Royal Lodge in Windsor or to Buckingham Palace.
Kellen, who worked closely with Epstein for over a decade and has previously been described as one of his senior aides, also gave evidence concerning her interactions with Andrew’s former wife, Sarah Ferguson, and broader aspects of Epstein’s network.Kellen’s testimony forms part of an ongoing US congressional inquiry into Epstein’s sex trafficking operation.
While she has denied wrongdoing and has never been formally charged in relation to Epstein’s crimes, she has been previously named in connection with legal proceedings linked to his circle.
In her recent statement, she also described herself as a victim of Epstein, alleging that she was manipulated and abused during her time working for him.
The allegations involving Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor come amid wider scrutiny of his past association with Epstein, which has already resulted in significant reputational and personal consequences, including the loss of royal titles and residences.UK police investigations are also reportedly ongoing into aspects of his conduct.Andrew denies all allegations of wrongdoing.
The testimony does not provide detailed corroborating evidence of the alleged invitation, and no charges have been brought in relation to these specific claims. The inquiry continues as authorities examine multiple witnesses and alleged victims connected to Epstein’s activities.
