Kaizer Chiefs have completed their third transfer window signing by securing 27-year-old Tanzanian midfielder Adolf Mtasingwa Bitegeko from Azam FC.This marks the first time a Tanzanian player has joined the club, with Bitegeko viewed as a potential replacement for Thabo Cele, who is expected to leave after missing the club's preseason Spain tour.

The move follows the signings of goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner and centre-back Thabo Moloisane, making Bitegeko the Amakhosi's third recruit for the 2026/27 season.The club has also loaned goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari to Kruger United and is set to sell Congolese winger Glody Lilepo to Al Ahli Benghazi.Bitegeko, who previously played in Iceland for KR Reykjavík and Völsungur IF, brings international experience to the squad.The signing underscores Chiefs' strategy to strengthen their midfield options ahead of the new season.
