Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda has approved ₦500 million compensation for residents impacted by the Modoji/Bakuru Federal Housing Project.The decision, made during the 11th SEC meeting, ensures fair compensation for affected lands, properties, and economic trees.Commissioner Faisal Kaita emphasized that the compensation covers both developed and undeveloped structures, farmlands, and trees.The approval reflects the administration's dedication to due process and responsible development.Additionally, the Council approved land allocation for an Agro-Processing Zone and adopted the 2026–2027 MTEF for fiscal planning.

Infrastructure projects like the Ruma–Daneji semi-bridge and monthly security meetings with traditional rulers were also approved to boost connectivity and community safety.These measures aim to balance development with citizen welfare, ensuring timely project execution and inclusive growth.
