The International Women's Peace Group (IWPG) has partnered with the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) to strengthen women-led peacebuilding efforts and community cohesion across Kenya.This collaboration, signed during a Nairobi conference, aims to deepen cooperation in peace education, dialogue, and grassroots engagement.

The initiative follows a peace conference that brought together government officials, civil society groups, and youth leaders to emphasize women's critical role in sustainable peace.IWPG also signed agreements with four Kenyan organizations to advance peacebuilding, child protection, and civic empowerment.

IWPG Chairwoman Nayoung Jeon highlighted the goal of creating a unified network of women peace leaders to drive long-term community stability through education and grassroots projects.The partnership underscores the importance of women's leadership in conflict resolution and fostering national unity.This effort aligns with global peace initiatives and highlights Kenya's commitment to inclusive, community-driven solutions.
