The Kenya Meteorological Department has released a 24-hour weather forecast predicting rainfall for 21 counties across the Rift Valley, Western, Nyanza, and Nairobi regions.The report highlights that temperatures will range between 10°C and 30°C, with light showers and thunderstorms likely in several areas.

Counties such as Uasin Gishu, Bungoma, Nakuru, Kericho, Kakamega, Trans-Nzoia, Vihiga, Bomet, Nandi, Meru, Elgeyo Marakwet, West Pokot, Mombasa, Kwale, Lamu, Nyamira, Embu, Murang’a, Nyeri, and Nyandarua are expected to experience rainfall.

The forecast also mentions intermittent cool and cloudy conditions in Embu, Kiambu, Kirinyaga, Laikipia, Meru, Murang'a, Nairobi, Nyandarua, Nyeri, Tharaka-Nithi, Kitui, Machakos, Kajiado, and Makueni.The department advises residents, farmers, and commuters to plan for changing weather patterns during the active rainfall season.
