Shaped like a translucent soccer ball, the clock draws inspiration from Louis Vuitton’s Monogram soccer ball introduced during the 1998 FIFA World Cup.Its transparent outer shell reveals a complex inner mechanism, emphasizing precision engineering and aesthetic detail.Instead of traditional clock hands, the time is displayed through rotating cylinders embedded within the structure.Black and white diamond accents are integrated into the design, adding a subtle decorative sparkle.

The object is intended to feel more like a sculptural art piece than a conventional timekeeping device, with its internal movement visible from multiple angles, giving the impression of suspended motion.

The clock is presented in a custom Louis Vuitton travel trunk crafted at the brand’s historic Asnières workshop near Paris, reinforcing the house’s long-standing heritage in luxury travel goods and collectible objects.Only one unit has been produced, making it a truly unique creation.The piece will be auctioned by Sotheby’s in June, with all proceeds benefiting UNICEF’s humanitarian programs worldwide.
