However, the festivities were marred by disorder, with the Metropolitan Police reporting a range of offences including drunk and disorderly behaviour, drug-related incidents, sexual assault, and assaults on emergency workers. In total, 16 people were arrested, including six for assaulting police officers.Footage from the scene showed groups of fans behaving recklessly, including individuals climbing onto a police van, drinking, and chanting.Officers were also seen holding batons while dealing with crowds in certain areas.Emergency services were kept busy throughout the day.

The London Fire Brigade reported rescuing around 75 people from elevated positions after fans climbed structures such as rooftops and street furniture.

They also responded to a small fire at a hotel, believed to have been caused by a flare, and noted that pyrotechnics triggered fire alarms at multiple locations.Prior to the event, Arsenal had urged supporters to behave responsibly, emphasising safety and respect for local residents and infrastructure.

Authorities echoed these warnings, reminding attendees that flares and fireworks were prohibited and that unsafe behaviour could lead to police action.
