President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.launched the 'Bawat Bayan Makikinabang' program in Lucena City, Quezon, focusing on housing security, food assistance, and educational support.

The initiative included distributing 4,000 kilos of rice to indigent families under the 'Bigay Bigas sa Masa' initiative, which aims to enhance food security through the Sagip Saka Act.Additionally, 165 college students from Lucena’s 33 barangays received P20,000 scholarships each.

Marcos also awarded certificates of entitlement (COE) to 100 families under the 4PH housing program, granting them legal ownership of residential lots they’ve occupied for over two decades.The event also involved inspecting an upgraded passenger terminal in Lucena, which serves as a key transportation hub for Southern Tagalog.

These measures underscore the administration’s efforts to address poverty, improve infrastructure, and support education, reflecting broader socio-economic priorities in the region.
