A mob justice incident in Soweto-on-Sea on Tuesday morning resulted in the deaths of two men and left a third critically injured.Police spokesperson Capt Sandra Janse van Rensburg confirmed that officers from Kwazakhele SAPS responded to an alleged assault report in Johnson Road.Upon arrival, they found bloodstains on a man's trousers and requested additional support.Inside the property, police discovered the bodies of two unidentified men aged 28 and 29, along with a 24-year-old victim with severe injuries.Preliminary investigations suggest the victims were accused of housebreaking during the previous weekend.Two men aged 25-30 and a 55-year-old woman were arrested on charges of murder and attempted murder.Police emphasized that vigilantism is a criminal offense and urged the public to report crimes through official channels.The incident highlights ongoing tensions around community justice and the need for legal accountability.
