MQM-P leader Mustafa Kamal, also serving as federal health minister, accused the Sindh government of systematically neglecting Karachi's development and basic civic services.He highlighted that despite receiving Rs2.2 trillion in federal funds, the city's districts like Larkana, Hyderabad, and Sukkur remain underserved.

Kamal criticized the provincial administration for failing to provide essential infrastructure such as clean water, sewerage systems, and schools, while also pointing to high rates of child stunting and out-of-school children.

He argued that Karachi, as Pakistan's economic capital with key seaports, should be prioritized for development but has been sidelined by the PPP-led government.

Kamal announced the party's decision to mobilize street protests to demand constitutional amendments for greater provincial autonomy, emphasizing their commitment to lawful action.

The leader also lamented the lack of progress in Karachi's infrastructure and education sectors, contrasting the city's struggles with developments in other parts of the country.
