The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan's sister, Noreen Niazi, for spreading false and inflammatory content on social media that allegedly defames state institutions.The notice warns of legal action under Section 174 of the Pakistan Penal Code if she fails to appear before the agency on July 20.

Noreen's remarks, which surfaced online after a military conflict between Pakistan and India in 2025, claim that the conflict was orchestrated with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's involvement and that Israel influenced the situation to secure Pakistan's recognition of Israel.She also alleged US President Donald Trump praised the conflict for similar reasons.

The NCCIA alleges she promoted fake narratives about Marka-e-Haq (Battle of Truth), a 19-day military confrontation between Pakistan and India, which ended after U.S.intervention.The agency emphasizes that her content violates cybercrime laws and could lead to severe penalties if ignored.
