The Nigerian Content Development Management Board (NCDMB) and Renaissance Africa Energy Company have partnered to launch a comprehensive training program for 300 Nigerian professionals in the oil and gas sector.

The initiative, which combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training, aims to build local expertise and strengthen Nigeria's energy industry.Participants will gain hands-on experience in mechanical systems, electrical operations, instrumentation, software development, and cybersecurity.The program also emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, and safety culture to prepare trainees for real-world challenges.

NCDMB Director General Ranti Omole highlighted the program's alignment with the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act and the 10-Year Strategic Roadmap, which seek to create a sustainable talent pipeline for the energy sector.

Renaissance Africa Energy's General Manager, Olarenwaju Lanre Olawuyi, stressed the importance of developing indigenous capabilities to drive the country's energy growth.

The training, led by Radial Circle as the lead provider, is part of broader efforts to reduce reliance on foreign expertise and empower Nigerians to lead in the global energy market.

Stakeholders emphasized that the program will not only equip participants with technical skills but also foster innovation and problem-solving abilities essential for industry leadership.
