The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results of the NEET UG 2026 exam, marking a significant milestone in the medical admissions process.Over 11.21 lakh candidates qualified for undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, and allied health science courses across India.The exam, conducted on June 21 at 5,440 centres across 551 cities and 14 international locations, saw nearly 20 lakh participants.Notably, 58% of qualifiers are women, reflecting a growing trend in female representation.The top scorers, Aryan Gupta (Punjab) and Panshul Bansal (Haryana), achieved a perfect 715 out of 720 marks.A total of 138 candidates scored 690 or more, with over 93% being first-time test-takers.

The NTA streamlined the result declaration process by parallelizing stages and decoupling the OMR sheet challenge from answer key release, ensuring timely results.Scorecards are now accessible on the official NEET website.

The state-wise toppers list highlights regional performance variations, with candidates from all states and union territories securing qualifying marks.This data will guide the upcoming medical admission and counselling schedules.
