The Nigerian Army has given full military honours to Lieutenant Felix Ademe Isaac, the 28-year-old officer wey lose him life during the rescue operation for abducted pupils and teachers for Oyo State.

The young lieutenant, wey come from Adamawa State, die in the line of duty on top the intelligence-led mission wey rescue 44 victims after dem spend 56 days for captivity.The operation involve plenty security agencies like Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, DSS and others, plus Amotekun and local hunters.Dem arrest eight suspected kidnappers and neutralise several others for the process.Lt.Isaac wey born on 25th August 1997, bury for 23 Armoured Brigade Cemetery for Yola on 10th July 2026.Him father describe am as the hope of the family and community, and appeal to government and military to support the bereaved family.

The abduction happen on 15th May 2026 when gunmen attack different schools for Oriire Local Government Area, including Baptist Nursery and Primary School.One teacher also die during the initial attack.

President Bola Tinubu hail the rescue as major breakthrough, while Governor Seyi Makinde commend the security forces and pray for the souls of those wey pay the ultimate price.The rescued pupils and teachers dey receive medical care before dem go reunite with their families.This incident show the sacrifices wey our security personnel dey make to protect innocent citizens from bandits and kidnappers for the country.
