Security forces in Pakistan have killed 16 terrorists during Operation Al-Azm in Balochistan, according to state media.The operation, part of a broader effort to combat terrorism, has seen significant progress with the destruction of terrorist hideouts and recovery of weapons.The government uses the term 'Fitna al-Hindustan' to highlight India's alleged role in supporting Balochistan-based groups.The operation was launched after a deadly attack on a Karachi-bound coach from Quetta, which killed three and injured five.Balochistan faces ongoing security challenges, with recent operations resulting in the deaths of 10 terrorists and the arrest of two suicide bombers.Earlier this month, Operation Shaban was launched in response to a police post attack in Ziarat, where 27 officers were killed.A security report noted a sharp rise in terrorist attacks in Balochistan, with 71 incidents in May compared to 34 in April.

The government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening security coordination and implementing a peace strategy to eliminate terrorist activity in the province.
