In an ongoing military operation named Shaban in Balochistan, security forces have eliminated a total of 83 terrorists since July 5, according to state media.

The campaign was launched in retaliation for a deadly attack on a police post at the Mangi Dam pumping station in Ziarat, where armed attackers kidnapped and killed 27 officers.

Joint operations involving the army, Frontier Corps, police, and Anti-Terrorism Force are targeting 'khawarij' militants linked to groups like Fitna al-Hindustan, which the government claims receive support from India.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces' preparedness, while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized a national commitment to ending terrorism.The operation continues until all terrorists are neutralized, with officials highlighting intelligence-based strategies and cross-border threats.
