President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.received United States Ambassador to India Sergio Gor and US Ambassador to the Philippines Lee Lipton at Malacañang Palace ahead of ASEAN-related engagements in Manila.

The meeting, organized by the Presidential Communications Office, aimed to commemorate milestones in the Philippines-US diplomatic relations and advance shared priorities for regional peace, security, and prosperity.

US Embassy officials noted that Gor is part of the US delegation participating in ASEAN meetings, while Lipton expressed enthusiasm for showcasing the Philippines' beauty and the strength of bilateral ties.

The courtesy call precedes the ASEAN foreign ministers’ meetings in Manila, where US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other regional diplomats are expected to attend.

The event underscores the strategic partnership between the two nations, focusing on collaborative efforts to address regional challenges and enhance economic and security cooperation.
