DepEd outlines major education reforms for School Year 2026-2027, including a three-term calendar and improved teacher support
The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has recently announced measures to enhance communication with customers regarding international parcel deliveries.
Delays often occur because packages are inspected by the Bureau of Customs, which checks for applicable duties, taxes, and additional required documents.
While some parcels are cleared quickly, others undergo more thorough verification, which can make it seem to customers that their parcels have stopped moving. To reduce confusion and delays, PHLPost will now send Letter Notices, text messages, or emails to customers whose parcels require extra documents.Customers are encouraged to follow instructions provided in these notifications and to coordinate with their local post offices.Common reasons for delays include missing proof of purchase, invoices, or permits.
Through this initiative, PHLPost aims to make the delivery process more transparent, helping customers understand that even if a parcel appears stagnant, it is still undergoing the necessary clearance procedures before delivery. This improvement is part of PHLPost's ongoing efforts to strengthen customer service and ensure smoother international parcel processing.
