The Philippine National Police (PNP) has arrested 303 individuals in a three-month intensified campaign against cybercriminals, according to PNP chief Gen.Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.The operation, which ran from April to June, resulted in 137 arrests through sting operations and the rescue of 38 victims.

Nartatez emphasized that combating cybercrimes involves not just apprehending offenders but also protecting victims and ensuring public safety online.

The PNP's Anti-Cybercrime Group conducted 6,845 cyber patrol operations and performed 220 digital forensic examinations to support cyber-related cases.The agency continues to enhance its cybercrime units through collaborations with government agencies and stakeholders.This initiative highlights the PNP's commitment to addressing online threats and safeguarding citizens in the digital age.
