The Ogun State Police Command has arrested two suspected one-chance robbers identified as Odunuga Kehinde and Olajide Rasak following a robbery incident in the Obantoko area of the state.

According to the command’s Public Relations Officer, Babaseyi Oluseyi, the arrest happened after a distress call was received concerning an attack on a female passenger and her two sisters.

The victims reportedly boarded a Nissan Micra taxi painted in Ogun State colours from the Somorin area, heading towards NNPC Kuto, where they planned to connect another vehicle to Lagos after attending a wedding anniversary.

However, along the OLG Somorin axis, the occupants of the vehicle allegedly diverted from the agreed route, became unruly, and forcefully ejected the passengers. After the victims alighted, the complainant discovered that her iPhone 12 Pro had been stolen.
