President Ferdinand R.Marcos Jr.inaugurated the Jose B.Lingad Children’s Medical Center in Mabalacat, Pampanga, marking the first facility under the Clark Multi-Specialty Medical Center project.

The hospital, equipped with advanced medical technologies including AI-assisted diagnostics, will serve pediatric patients from Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and nearby provinces.Marcos emphasized that children with serious medical conditions no longer need to travel to Metro Manila for specialized care.The facility received significant contributions: Enrique Razon’s Bloomberry Cultural Foundation Inc.provided P1 billion in seed funding and P50 million for a generator set, while the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.allocated P360 million.The Clark Development Corp.donated 4.85 hectares of land.Future plans include establishing the Philippine Heart Center and Philippine Cancer Center within the complex.The inauguration underscores Marcos’ commitment to improving healthcare accessibility and expanding specialty hospitals nationwide.
