A recent Pulse Asia survey conducted from June 28 to July 3 reveals that Vice President Sara Duterte is the preferred presidential candidate for the May 2028 elections, with 49% of respondents choosing her.

This surpasses Leni Robredo's 26% and other candidates like Senator Raffy Tulfo (14%), DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon (1%), and Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong (1%).Regional support for Duterte is strongest in Visayas (53%), Mindanao (87%), and Class E regions (59%).Four percent of respondents remain undecided, while 4% express no inclination to support any candidate.

The survey also highlights Duterte's popularity across five alternative scenarios involving other names, though she faces an impeachment trial over alleged misuse of funds, bribery accusations, and threats against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.and others.Meanwhile, Senator Bong Go leads as vice presidential choice at 27%, followed by Robin Padilla (21%) and Bam Aquino (14%).The survey, based on interviews with 2,400 adults, has a ±2% error margin, with regional estimates varying slightly.Overall, 89% of Filipinos express interest in the 2028 polls, underscoring political engagement ahead of the upcoming election.
