Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced a comprehensive education reform package aimed at modernizing schools and improving student safety.The initiative includes providing 100,000 free electric bikes to students, 100,000 laptops, and 50,000 scholarships.She emphasized converting government schools into modern institutions with equal facilities for all socio-economic groups.

The plan also involves establishing Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence in every tehsil, equipped with science labs, AI technology, and IT infrastructure.

Maryam highlighted the importance of education as an equalizing force and urged students to learn emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and robotics.Safety measures during the rainy season were stressed, along with addressing infrastructure gaps in schools through a Rs40 billion investment.

The government is prioritizing student safety, with new facilities including clean water, sanitation, and safe transportation options like green electric buses.
